Washington, D.C. – Police in Southeast, D.C. are asking for help identifying a suspect in a recent shooting. At approximately 3:45 p.m. on May 20th, the victim was walking on the 800 block of Yuma Street. The suspect was inside a vehicle that was moving. The suspect then fired a handgun and struck the victim. He then left the scene. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital, to treat non-life-threatening injuries. A 22-year-old driving a Kia was shot at along US Route 30 on Monday evening, the Northern York County Regional Police Department announced the following day. Shots were fired at a 2007 Kia SUV on US Route 30 East just east of Breezeview Drive on June 3, NYCRPD detailed in the release. A bicyclist struck a child exiting a school bus in York County and failed to report the incident to any authorities, so the police have released the bus’s dashcam video in hopes of tracking him down. The Montgomery County Department of Police is at the scene of a shooting on Tuesday afternoon that resulted in a 3-year-old being hospitalized, officials say. Officers were called before 1 p.m. on June 4 to a reported shooting in the 18600 block of Walkers Choice Road, and first responders transported the child to an area hospital with what were described as self-inflicted injuries. A nationwide recall has been issued for a brand of ground black pepper that could be contaminated with Salmonella. UBC Food Distributors issued the recall for the product under the Baraka brand name in 7-ounce plastic containers with UPC code 8 22514 26626 6, the Food & Drug Administration (FDA) announced.
