Last call is this Friday, according a Facebook post.
Owner Sandra DeRosa of Hair of the Dog, a bar and grill in Milford, announced the restaurant’s closing on Monday.
“We will be there until the wee hours of Friday night,” she said in a Facebook post on the restaurant’s page. “Hope to see as many of your faces there as possible.”
The restaurant first opened Nov. 2, 2020, according to their About page.
“Opening this place was something I had to do to prove to myself that my ideas were good,” according to her Facebook post. “And I was more than just a bartender that didn’t deserve to be taken seriously. I proved my point. I’m at a place in life where I want to stop and smell the roses.”
She finished by saying that “this is not the last you’ve seen of Sandra D as I say below. I will be all around making every place I walk into a little more fun.”

Dozens of comments expressed gratitude for the legacy De Rosa leaves behind.
“You did it. Nobody can take that away from you. I wish you well in your future endeavors,” one commenter wrote.
“You did an AMAZING job and kicked a– doing it!” another wrote. “It’s a very hard business to sustain and you made it look easy even though I know you were spread thin! You made your wish come true and then some! Time for you to relax and enjoy! Can’t wait to celebrate your last night with you, nowhere I’d rather be! Love you.
