Shawn L Gully Obituary, Death; – Fort Dodge officials have disclosed the identity of a man discovered deceased near a fire last week. According to the Fort Dodge Police Department, the individual has been identified as 49-year-old Shawn L. Gully, a resident of Fort Dodge, who passed away on March 19. Investigators have determined that his death resulted from a fall from a third-story window of an apartment engulfed in flames.
Initially, authorities responded to the scene following reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, they found Gully unresponsive on the sidewalk in front of an apartment building located in the 1000 block of First Avenue South. Police have confirmed that there is no indication of a gunshot wound.
The investigation is still ongoing.
