Glenda Jo Yoder,Darrell Yoder Obituary, Death; – Last week, three young siblings tragically lost their lives when their Amish buggy was hit by a Mercedes, according to WILX 10.
The incident occurred shortly after 8 a.m. on Wednesday in Marshall County, Indiana, close to the Michigan border. A 17-year-old driver operating a Mercedes-Benz GLA collided with the rear of the buggy, resulting in the victims being ejected from the vehicle. The deceased have been identified as Glenda Jo Yoder, 13, Darrell Yoder, 10, and Devon Yoder, 9, all residents of Bremen, Indiana; they were declared dead at the scene.
Information regarding the condition of the horse involved has not been disclosed, and the driver of the Mercedes sustained no injuries. In response to recent accidents involving Amish buggies, some areas in Michigan are considering measures to improve safety.
