Erika Newvill Obituary, Death;- A woman who passed away on Tuesday after being hit by a vehicle in Methuen, Massachusetts, has been named.
At 7:11 p.m., police responded to a report of a pedestrian being struck at 301 Merrimack St. Upon arrival, officers discovered Erika Newvill, 23, from Haverhill, suffering from critical injuries. She was transported to Lowell General Hospital, where she was later declared deceased.
The driver stayed at the scene and is cooperating with law enforcement, according to officials. Investigators are looking into the possibility that inadequate lighting in the vicinity may have played a role in the incident.
