43-year-old Aaron Jay Low and 44-year-old Jamie Irene Cragg, both of Pennsylvania, were arrested Tuesday (June 4) by Troutman Police Officers. Low is charged on a felony warrant as a fugitive from another state and Cragg is charged with harboring a fugitive. 40-year-old Paul Owen Lowman of Watershed Road in Morganton was arrested last Friday (May 31) by Morganton Public Safety Officers. He’s charged with felony possession of schedule II controlled substance and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. Shortly after 7 p.m. Friday a Public Safety Officer conducted a traffic stop on a maroon 2005 Chevy Impala after running the registration plate and learning that the registered owner had an outstanding felony indictment. 45-year-old Anthony Edward Jones of 2nd Street in Morganton was arrested last Friday (May 31) by Burke County Sheriff’s Officers. He’s charged with felony counts of assault by strangulation, trafficking, opium or heroin, possession of schedule II controlled substance, and possession with intent to manufacture, sell, and deliver schedule II controlled substance. Jones is also charged with misdemeanor counts of possession of drug paraphernalia and crime of domestic violence. According to officials, a student at Los Angeles County’s South El Monte High School has been allegedly stabbed. The state of his condition has not been disclosed at the time of this writing. A couple of teenage thieves were caught on camera stealing a pricey collectible from a South Florida card shop. The thieves stole a Pokemon card worth up to $500, and now the store’s owner wants his card back.
