An update has been issued regarding an officer- involved shooting. The names of the alleged shooters have been released. A suspect and officer were injured in the late May incident. Shortly after 2 a.m. on May 26 Hickory Police Officers responded to multiple gunshots coming from the vicinity of Gateway Pub at 534 highway 70 Southwest. After responding to the scene, officers encountered an armed suspect and attempted to take him into custody. PHILADELPHIA, PA — A police-involved auto-pedestrian incident occurred on Saturday evening in the 12th District, specifically on the 1600 block of South Ithan Street. At 7:27 PM, an officer driving southbound struck a 5-year-old black female. Following the incident, the child was promptly transported to Children’s Hospital by Medic 19, where she is reported to be in stable condition. There were no reported injuries to the police officer involved in the collision.
