Jennifer Friedel-Hoffman, a 60-year-old Pennsylvania resident, was killed in a crash on Route 78 in New Jersey on Wednesday, May 29. A tractor-trailer was parked and unoccupied on the right shoulder on Route 78 West in Lebanon when a Subaru driven by Friedel-Hoffman entered the area and struck the left rear of the truck just after 9 a.m., New Jersey State Police said. A 23-year-old Spotsylvania woman is being sought for a triple murder on Tuesday, June 4. Police called to the 10500 block of White Street Court found two men and woman woman dead with trauma to the upper body around 10 p.m., the Spotsylvania County Sheriff’s Office said. Alyssa Jane Venable is wanted on charges of second-degree murder and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony. Anyone who knows where Venable might be is urged to contact police. A Mays Landing woman pleaded guilty to killing her husband during an argument in the couple’s home on Christmas night, authorities said. Marylue Wigglesworth, 53, submitted a guilty plea on Tuesday, June 4 for second-degree manslaughter, the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office said in a news release. She had been indicted for murder on Tuesday, February 21, 2023, in the shooting death of 57-year-old David Wigglesworth. Owings Mills resident Delano Draine, 43, has been indicted on 68 charges for allegedly recording dressing room and upskirt videos of women and illegally accessing private media of patients and coworkers at a Columbia dental office where he worked, authorities announced on Wednesday. An Elmwood Park man who’d parked behind a local school had five pounds of pot for sale in his car, authorities said. Officers approached the vehicle, which was parked behind the Gantner Avenue School, shortly before 9 a.m. on a Sunday, Elmwood Park Police Chief Michael Foligno said. They found Richard Wochinger, 45, with a pound of marijuana each packed into a vacuum-sealed bag, a digital scale and assorted paraphernalia, the chief said. Wochinger was charged with possession and distribution of the pot, among other offenses, before being released pending court action.
