The Kansas Highway Patrol reported the incident at roughly 6:50 p.m. on K-14 highway, about five miles north of Beloit. The investigation discovered that a 2010 Toyota Tundra driven by Christopher J. Herz, 39, of Burr Oak, was going north on K-14 when it crossed the centerline. The Toyota collided with a southbound 2008 Ford Escape driven by Cady G. Travis, 44, of Jewell.
