Yuan Long Yuin Death – A motorcyclist from Beltsville has been identified by Montgomery County police as the individual who tragically lost his life in a collision in the Calverton area early Wednesday morning. The deceased, Yuan Long Yuin, 43, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash on Columbia Pike near Fairland Road, as stated in a police report released on Thursday afternoon.
Authorities received a report of a single-vehicle collision involving a green 2002 Honda CBR600 motorcycle shortly before 1:30 a.m. on Wednesday. Upon arrival, officers and Montgomery County Fire and Rescue crews discovered that Yuin’s Honda was traveling southbound on Columbia Pike. For reasons yet to be determined, he lost control of the motorcycle, resulting in a collision with a guardrail and his ejection from the vehicle, according to the preliminary findings of the investigation.
This tragic incident marks the second fatal collision involving a motorcycle in less than a week. In a separate incident early Saturday, another individual was killed after being ejected from their motorcycle following a collision with a curb and a traffic light pole in White Oak, as reported by the police.
