Woman Shot And Killed In Car Outside Compton Home: On Monday night, a 59-year-old lady was shot and died while seated in a vehicle outside her Compton mother’s house. The gunshot in the 700 block of South Holly Avenue on Monday night was reported just before 11 p.m. The woman passed away right there.
Her mother gave her name as Beverly Wilkins, age 59. When bullets were fired from a passing automobile, Rosie Wilkins said her daughter was seated inside her boyfriend’s vehicle.
