Woman dies after her SUV is stolen from a hospital and crashes into a structure; According to authorities, on Monday, a woman lost her life after the SUV she was riding in which had been taken from a hospital crash into the corner of the U.S. Attorney’s Office building in downtown Washington, D.C.
According to Metropolitan Police Department Assistant Chief Darnel Robinson, the incident at the MedStar Washington Hospital Center was a “tragedy.” Robinson said the victim whose name was withheld at first was in the car when another lady got in and drove off.
The event happened at 1:11 p.m. In a post on X on Monday, police stated that a “elderly parent” was reportedly inside the SUV at the time.
