Winson Khoo Obituary-Death News; Vice-Chairman of Trivelis Residents Network ID’s as Victim In Clementi Fatal Stabbing
41-year-old Winson Khoo was a father of two, a caring husband to Serene Kiew, and the Vice-Chairman of Trivelis Residents Network has been identified as the victim murdered in cold blood by a 50-year-old man who also resided at the Trivelis Apartments.
The two men participated in grassroots activities of the Trivelis Residents’ Network, which serves the Trivelis estate on Clementi Avenue 4. But in the late afternoon of October 21, yells and cries disrupted the tranquility in the estate when one of the men, a 50-year-old, attacked the other, a 41-year-old. The victim was sent to Ng Teng Fong General Hospital, where he died, and the suspect was arrested.
The offender was captured on film chasing the victim from the pickup place between blocks 311B and 311C. The pickup location is just in front of the Trivelis Residents’ Network office, at the foot of Block 311B. The victim tripped near a drain approximately 20 meters from the office, and the suspect reportedly attacked him.
Serene Kiew, Khoo’s wife, was beside him when the attack occurred. She was heard screaming during the assault as her spouse lay on the ground. Kiew and a parking attendant attempted to remove the suspect from her spouse but could not.
Someone was also shouting for others to phone the police. According to residents, the perpetrator eventually turned his focus on the woman, following her as she ran screaming.
They claimed she sought safety in a preschool on Block 311C. The guy then walked to his black automobile at the pickup spot and drove into the multi-story carpark, allegedly reversing into another car many times. He was caught as he drove out of the parking lot and apprehended by the police. Other residents reported that a medical worker, who was on her way home, raced forward to assist Mr Khoo.
