Willie Moton,Linda Scott Obituary, – Milwaukee Police are currently conducting an investigation into a fatal crash that occurred early Friday morning, resulting in the deaths of two individuals. The incident took place at the intersection of 27th Street and Center Street, near Fond du Lac Avenue, at approximately 2:45 a.m.
According to officers, the driver of a black Kia, a 23-year-old individual, was traveling at a high speed when they lost control of the vehicle and collided with a traffic pole. Tragically, both the driver and a 22-year-old passenger were pronounced dead at the scene. The victims have been identified as Willie Moton (23) and Linda Scott (22) by their family members on Friday morning. It has been revealed that Moton and Scott had been best friends since their time in high school.
Linda’s grandmother, Janet Scott, shared that the two were together at Potawatomi Casino on Thursday night before heading to a bar. Janet Scott described their bond as inseparable, stating that they were like siblings. Linda, who was a mother to a two-year-old son, worked as a home healthcare worker and was born and raised in Milwaukee. Moton’s family mentioned that he was employed as a healthcare technician at Ascension Columbia St. Mary’s and was known for his sense of humor, outgoing nature, and caring personality. This tragic crash occurred just 24 hours after another high-speed collision near 50th Street and Oklahoma Avenue in Milwaukee, which claimed the lives of three individuals.
