Willie Murtagh’s passing has touched many lives, and condolences have poured in from all corners. One notable expression of sympathy came from the local sports community. “It is with great sadness we learned of the sad passing of William (Willie) Murtagh, Clondalever, Collinstown, Westmeath. We express our sincere sympathies to Sean’s entire family and especially his son Billy Murtagh, who trains our U16 Blues team. Billy’s son Cathal also plays on the U16 Blues team.”
Final Farewell Arrangements
Family and friends will have the opportunity to pay their respects at Willie’s residence (Eircode N91 TK66) on Monday, July 15th, from 3 PM to 6 PM. Following the repose, there will be a removal to the Church of the Assumption, Taghmon (Eircode N91 XY66), arriving at 7:30 PM. The Funeral Mass is scheduled for Tuesday, July 16th, at 11 AM, with burial to follow in the adjoining cemetery.
