William Jason Roberts,Nicole Roberts Obituary, Death; – A man from Pittsylvania County has been accused of murder in connection with the deaths of his son and daughter-in-law.
On Tuesday night, the Pittsylvania County Sheriff’s Office received a report of two individuals who had been shot at 471 River Ridge Road in Axton. Upon arrival, deputies discovered the victims deceased outside the residence. The victims have been identified as William Jason Roberts, aged 41, and Ashley Nicole Roberts, aged 39, both residents of Roanoke.
The authorities promptly took William Lester Roberts, aged 65, into custody. The bodies of the victims have been transported to the Medical Examiner’s Office for autopsies, which will determine the cause and manner of their deaths.
William Lester Roberts now faces charges of two counts of 2nd-degree murder, two counts of using a firearm during the commission of a felony, and discharging firearms within a dwelling. He is currently being held without bond at the Pittsylvania County Jail.
