William Edward Cain Obituary, Death; – A man has died from injuries sustained after a hit-and-run, according to the Waynesville Police Department.
On Saturday, February 8, a pedestrian, identified as 38-year-old William Edward Cain, was struck by a vehicle on Brown Ave near Hemlock Street. Cain was transported to a hospital for treatment, and passed away due to his injuries on Tuesday, February 11.
Police say that the suspect left the scene and has not been identified. The department asks for anyone with information to tell the Waynesville Police Department or contact the detective in charge of the investigation at (828)-456-5363.
