Wilberto Millet Obituary, Death; – The individual who lost his life in a shooting incident last week in West Haven has been identified as 19-year-old Wilberto Millet from Waterbury, according to a police update released on Monday morning.
Authorities received a 911 call at approximately 11:40 p.m. on February 19, which reported a vehicle parked on the side of Terrace Avenue near Glad Street, with a man slumped in the back seat, suffering from a gunshot wound to the head, as stated by Sgt. Scott Allard.
Sgt. Allard indicated that responding patrol officers discovered an unresponsive male in the back seat of the vehicle. It was confirmed that he had suffered a gunshot wound to the head.
Millet was declared dead at the scene. In a subsequent update on Monday, Allard noted that the investigation is still active. Although the shooting has been classified as either accidental or self-inflicted, “detectives are diligently working to verify this.”
