Wei Bao Obituary, Death; – A pedestrian who lost his life after being struck by a white Honda Accord at an intersection in South San Gabriel has been identified as Wei Bao, an 84-year-old man, according to the Medical Examiner’s office.
The incident took place at 6:05 p.m. on Saturday at the intersection of San Gabriel Boulevard and Delta Street, located in the unincorporated area south of Rosemead, as reported by the California Highway Patrol.
Paramedics from the Los Angeles County Fire Department administered CPR to the pedestrian, now identified as Bao, before he was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the CHP. It remains uncertain whether the driver stopped following the incident. The intersection was temporarily closed to facilitate the investigation.
