Warran Joyce Obituary, Death; – A man has lost his life, and another individual is in custody following a deadly shooting incident in Stoneville on January 31. The Stoneville Police Department responded to a report of gunfire at approximately 12:45 p.m. in the 300 block of South Henry Street.
Upon their arrival, officers found 47-year-old Warran Joyce in the front yard, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite attempts to save his life, Joyce was declared dead at the scene.
The suspect, identified as 23-year-old Miguel Angel Corona, was apprehended at the residence without any resistance. Authorities have confirmed that the shooting resulted from a specific altercation between Joyce and Corona.
Corona has been charged with second-degree murder and is currently being held at the Rockingham County Jail without the possibility of bond. The investigation into this incident remains ongoing.
