(PINPOINT WEATHER) — Wednesday will be the warmest day of the week as we make a run for 80s degrees this Wednesday afternoon!
We first start off chilly so be sure to dress up in layers as the 40s have settled in for much of the Carolinas. A few spots are colder, sitting in the 30s but sunny skies and a bit of a breeze will usher in warmer temperatures heading into the peak heating hours of the day.

Highs will peak near 80 degrees as winds pick up out of the south-southwest between five and ten miles per hour. Winds will be breezy Wednesday, gusting as fast as 20 miles per hour at times.
After a warm day, we’ll have a cool overnight as lows dip into the mid-50s heading into the second half of the work week. Thursday will usher in a few showers that likely cross the I-77 corridor late morning into the afternoon.
Rain will be light to moderate at times and be scattered through the first half of the day. We’ll likely dry out in the afternoon while our mountain counties and western-facing slopes hold on to some lingering snow showers through the evening hours.

Friday will finish the work week dry and seasonable, with highs landing in the mid-60s under mostly sunny skies. We’ll be warm and dry through the weekend as the 70s take hold Saturday and Sunday.
Rain chances will return with low 70s and upper 60s to kick off early next week.
Wednesday: Mostly Sunny and Warm. High: 80.
Weds. Night: Cool with Increasing Clouds. Low: 54.
