Virgil Ward Jr Death Notice: Our good friend Virgil Ward Jr. passed away, and it is with heavy hearts that we share this news with you. We are profoundly grieved to inform you of his demise, and we are sharing this news with you. Everyone will miss you terribly. He was a well-liked member of our society who, by virtue of his unfailing generosity and inventiveness, left an indelible mark on the lives of a significant number of individuals. It was with affection that he was referred to as “Junior,” and these are the words that we used to describe him. Despite the fact that the circumstances behind Junior’s loss are still unknown at this time, everyone who had the luxury of knowing Junior is feeling the impact of his passing strongly.
Junior’s passing has left a void that cannot be filled. After Junior’s passing, there is a hole in our lives that can never be replaced. I was working at Witmer-McNease (Memories of McNease) in 1975 when I had my first meeting with Junior. This was the year that I was hired there. I was fortunate enough to get the chance to meet Junior during this specified time period. In addition to being an exceptional musician who played the steel guitar, he was also an exceptional citizen of the world. He was a magnificent example of both. One of Junior’s favorite genres of music was country music, and he would frequently stop by the shop to share his enthusiasm for the music genre. In addition to that, he would talk about his experiences and recollections of “Mac,” Elmer Hobart, and other influential people in the country music industry.
Country music was something that Junior enjoyed listening to. People who were fortunate enough to be in his company were filled with joy and laughter as a result of his presence, and those who were fortunate enough to be in his company appreciated and loved his friendship. We would like to express our deepest condolences to you during this trying time. Please accept our sincere gratitude. During this difficult time, we are keeping your family, the Wards, in our thoughts and prayers. While you are working through the grief that you are experiencing, it is my goal that the love and support of those who are close to you will be able to offer you some degree of solace, despite the difficulties that you are currently experiencing.
Everyone who had the privilege of knowing and loving Junior will carry his memories with them forever, even though Junior is no longer with us. His memory will live on in their hearts. The fact that Junior is not physically present does not change the fact that this is true. His music, his sense of humor, and his companionship are all things that we are going to miss very much; but, his legacy will continue to motivate us in the years to come. I hope that you, Junior, are able to find the peace that you so richly deserve. The recollections that we have of the time that we spent with you will guarantee that your spirit will continue to shine brightly, and that you will always have a special and essential place in our hearts. You will remain in my mind for all of eternity.
