Virgil Robinson Obituary, – A fatal accident occurred when a man was thrown from his motorcycle and subsequently hit by a semi-truck in a three-vehicle crash. The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office (PBSO) crash report reveals that another motorcyclist was traveling in the left lane on U.S. Highway 27, while a semi-truck was in the right lane, slightly behind the motorcycle.
Virgil Robinson, another motorcyclist, was approaching from behind the semi-truck and the other motorcycle. According to the PBSO’s crash report, Robinson’s motorcycle experienced a wheel wobble, causing it to collide with the rear of the other motorcycle. As a result of the collision, Robinson, aged 51, was ejected from his motorcycle and ended up beneath the semi-truck. Tragically, Robinson was pronounced dead at the scene, while the second motorcyclist was transported to the hospital with severe injuries. The driver of the semi-truck, as stated in the PBSO crash report, did not sustain any injuries.
