Tyler took great pride in his work, always striving for excellence and helping others whenever he could. He had a reputation for being dependable, kind-hearted, and willing to lend a hand to those in need. His dedication to his craft was evident in the high standard of work he produced, but even more so in the relationships he built with colleagues and customers alike. Tyler’s faith played an important role in his life. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Linkville, where he was baptized and confirmed.
His strong connection to the church community was evident in his willingness to contribute his time and energy to various church activities. Tyler’s faith was a cornerstone of his life, guiding him through both the good times and the challenging ones. He was the type of person who lived his faith through his actions, always striving to be kind, generous, and understanding of others. Tyler’s greatest joy in life was his family, especially his beloved fiancé, Shelby Cilc, and their son, Jax. Tyler and Shelby shared a deep and loving bond, one that was built on trust, respect, and shared dreams for the future.
Together, they created a home filled with laughter, love, and memories that will be cherished forever. Tyler was a proud and devoted father to Jax, his world revolving around his son. As a father, Tyler always put Jax’s needs above his own, striving to create a safe, happy, and loving environment for his son. He was filled with pride every time he looked at Jax, and his joy in being a dad was unmistakable.
Tyler’s love for Jax was matched only by the love he had for his extended family. He shared a close relationship with his parents, Tonya Haldane and Shawn & Vickie Parrish, who were an unshakable support system for him throughout his life. His bond with his sisters, Shelby (Jamie) Carlisle and Payton Parrish, was equally strong, and he loved his niece and nephews—Onalee, Miles, and Archie—dearly. Tyler took great pride in being an active and involved member of his extended family, and his presence was always felt at family gatherings and celebrations.
His grandparents—Robert & Sharon Haldane, Garry McKellar, and Don & Peggy Parrish—held a special place in his heart, and he treasured the time spent with them. The love and support of his family were central to Tyler’s life, and they will forever carry his memory with them. Tyler’s friends also meant the world to him. He had a wide circle of friends who admired him not only for his work ethic and loyalty but also for his caring nature and infectious personality. Tyler would go out of his way to help a friend in need, and his generosity knew no bounds.
His laughter was contagious, and his smile had the power to light up a room. He was the kind of friend who always knew how to bring joy to any situation, and his presence made every gathering that much more memorable. Tyler’s friends have fond memories of the good times they shared, from hunting trips to simple evenings spent chatting and laughing. He was a constant source of support, and his friendship was a gift that will never be forgotten. Tyler’s love for the outdoors was another defining aspect of his life.
He enjoyed hunting and taking walks down to the river, where he found peace and solace in nature. These moments allowed him to connect with the world around him and find quiet reflection in the beauty of the natural world. His love for the outdoors was something he shared with his family and friends, and many cherished memories were made during those special times in nature. Whether it was hunting, fishing, or simply enjoying a peaceful walk, Tyler found joy in the simplicity of life’s quiet moments.
