Tykeedra Henderson Obituary – Law enforcement officials investigating a fatal shooting in Kansas City have identified the victim as 23-year-old Tykeedra Henderson, as confirmed by KCPD Captain Jake Becchina.
Shortly after 1a.m. on Wednesday, police responded to reports of a shooting at a gas station parking lot located at 31st and Bell in Kansas City, according to Becchina.
Upon arrival, first responders discovered Henderson unresponsive inside a vehicle parked in the lot. Emergency Medical Services were called to the scene and pronounced her deceased.
Based on preliminary findings, it appears that the victim was inside a vehicle on the north side of the parking lot when shots were fired by unidentified individuals from outside her vehicle, resulting in her being struck. The vehicle then came to a stop on the south side of the parking lot where it was located by officers.
