CHARLOTTE (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A suspect is in custody following a hit-and-run crash that injured two Charlotte Medic employees on Wednesday morning.
According to the Mecklenburg EMS Agency, also known as Medic, the hit-and-run accident happened around 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 19, along Randolph Road.
They said a vehicle struck the ambulance and fled the scene. Medic confirms there was no patient inside the ambulance at the time of the crash.
The suspect involved is now in police custody, Medic confirmed with Queen City News.
Both Medic crew members were transported to the hospital for minor injuries.
