According to state police, the 40-year-old Royersford man who was shot in the head died on Monday while being treated in hospital.
The suspected gunman, a 59-year-old man from North Dinwiddie, Virginia, killed himself. According to police, the gunman was driving a white tractor-trailer, while the victim was in a white flatbed truck.
The incident occurred last Friday, about 1 p.m., on the Pennsylvania Turnpike eastbound in Brecknock Township, near mile marker 291.3 between the Reading and Morgantown exits. Anyone who may have observed the event is requested to contact police.
