(PINPOINT WEATHER) — A cold front moving through the region brought a rainy start to Monday for many of you, and more spotty showers were seen moving through the area Monday evening! Although the rain didn’t add up to much, we’ve got another round of showers as another disturbance moves in on Tuesday.
The morning will be dry and we’ll see some sunshine through the afternoon, allowing temps to warm into the low and mid-70s. But by 4-5 pm, showers will start to move into the mountains and foothills, then push into the Charlotte metro by 7-9 pm. Once again, it won’t be much, with only up to a tenth or so of an inch of rain expected.

The rest of the week looks dry, which isn’t good news for the wildfire risk. The high fire danger will continue, so please continue to avoid any outdoor burning, and properly discard any smoking materials.

Temperatures overall stay on the warmer side, with lots of 70s — even 80s — heading into the weekend.
Tonight: Partly cloudy with a few showers early. Low 43.
Tuesday: Sun & clouds with PM showers. High 73.
