Trevor Logan Obituary, Death – We are saddened to inform you that Trevor William Logan passed away on March 8th, 2024 in Whitecourt, Alberta. Our hearts go out to his family and friends. The magnitude of the loss that this has caused for his family and friends is beyond description. In the presence of Trevor, a room was illuminated, and the hearts of all those who knew and loved him were warmed from the inside out. The void that has been left in our hearts as a result of this tremendous loss cannot be adequately described using words.
Have some peace, our lovely young man. Trev, we love you, and will continue to do so until we meet again. An announcement regarding a memorial service will be made at a later time. Trevor was born in the city of Dawson Creek, British Columbia. After completing his medical studies at the University of Ottawa in 1978, he went on to spend two years working in various positions, including those of a rotating intern, a registrar, and a senior house surgeon.
Additionally, he worked in Wellington Hospital in New Zealand, where he was assigned to general practice locums. After moving back to Canada, Trevor finished his pediatrics residency at the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario in Ottawa, which lasted for an entire 12-month. Following the completion of his FRCP residency in emergency medicine at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario, he relocated to London, Ontario in 1983.
He began his professional life at Victoria Hospital (South Street and subsequently London Health Sciences Centre), and he was also appointed to a position in the Faculty of Medicine at Western University. Over the course of thirty-five years, he had a distinguished career and held a variety of positions before retiring in 2018 as Professor Emeritus.
