Trevon Hairston Obituary, Death; – A man is confronting multiple charges, including murder, following a fatal shooting that occurred early Sunday morning in Leesville.
According to the Leesville Police Department, the incident took place shortly after midnight on February 9 in the parking lot of the Legacy Grooming Lounge located on South Fifth Street. Authorities believe the shooting was precipitated by a dispute among several individuals, during which one person opened fire and subsequently fled the scene.
Three individuals sustained gunshot wounds and were transported to a nearby hospital. One of the victims, identified as 30-year-old Trevon Hairston from Leesville, succumbed to his injuries. As of the latest information, there have been no updates regarding the conditions of the other two victims.
Later that evening, Jamel Weaver, a 22-year-old resident of Leesville, surrendered to the police. He is facing several charges, including:

– Aggravated battery
– Aggravated assault with a firearm
