This morning, kouga community experienced another tragic event. In a violent clash between two rival gangs, a house in Oceanview was attacked and set on fire.
After receiving a call from one of our AROs, our S.O.R.T team immediately responded to the scene. The Fire Brigade arrived quickly and worked tirelessly to extinguish the flames, while Exec Ops, SAPS, and Humansdorp OCC closely monitored the growing crowd to prevent further escalation.
Heartbreakingly, a mother of two young children lost her life in the fire, along with two other individuals who have yet to be identified.
Law enforcement remains on high alert as fears of retaliation grow within the community following these tragic deaths.
The case is under active investigation, and we urge everyone to stay vigilant and report any suspicious activity.
