Tony Jay Brown allegedly fires shot in air, holds three children hostage inside Mount Healthy home

Authorities responded to an alleged hostage situation Sunday.

It happened at a residence on Clovernook Avenue in Mount Healthy.

According to authorities, 29-year-old Tony Jay Brown allegedly fired a shot in the air near several other homes.

Brown then alleged returned inside the home and held three children against their will.

Officers responded to the scene and Brown was eventually taken into custody.
