Toby Walther Obituary, Death;- The Berkeley County Coroner’s Office has confirmed the identity of the driver who tragically lost his life in a collision on Monday night. Toby Walther, a 43-year-old resident of Moncks Corner, has been named as the individual who passed away.
Details from the incident report indicate that the accident took place at 8:47 p.m. at the intersection of Horseshoe Road and Honey Bee Road, located approximately four miles south of Moncks Corner.
Walther was driving a 2006 Ford Mustang eastbound on Horseshoe Road when he veered off the left side of the roadway. He collided with a sign post and two trees before coming to a halt. He was pronounced dead at the scene. As reported by the Berkeley County Coroner’s Office, Walther marks the seventh traffic-related fatality in Berkeley County since January 1, 2025.
