Courtney Coyo Gallow, in her Facebook lamented and remembered Tierney Murphy with the following statements; “Murph… I don’t even have the words man. This one hurt when I got the call this morning, asking did I check on you. My first thought, “I know this negro not in Atlanta and ain’t say nothing!!” Not expecting them to tell me you might’ve passed. Then hearing your mom’s voice, “she gone Co, my baby gone” crushed me.
You were one of the reasons I got in the oilfield. Everytime I’d ask you about work, you’d tell me, “man come get this money”. I’m glad I listened. When things went left for me in the industry, and I wanted to give up, you gave me contacts to put me right back in the game.
If you knew Murph, you knew it was nothing she wanted more than to move to Houston everytime she came, it was a situation. She was fun to be around, you never knew what she was gon say but you definitely was gon laugh around her…”
Her funeral plans and obituary will be announced by her family once it has been scheduled.
