Thomas Roche Obituary, Death – Thomas F. Roche, Jr. passed away peacefully surrounded by his family after a valiant battle against illnesses connected to the World Trade Center.
He had been battling these cancers for a long time. Although Thomas spent his boyhood in the Eltingville district of Staten Island, he was born in Brooklyn, New York, on June 7, 1956. However, Thomas spent his childhood there. During his time at Monsignor Farrell High School, where he graduated with the class of 1974.
Thomas was known for his outstanding performance on the football field. Following his graduation from high school, he continued his studies at Ohio State University, where he played football for the Buckeyes and was coached by Woody Hayes. During his time at Ohio State, he was also an assistant coach for the team.
In September of 1980, Thomas joined the New York City Police Department, and after more than 22 years of service, he eventually retired from the department. Before he was born, both of his parents.

Thomas is survived by his wife Maureen, his children Melissa, Thomas, Kate, and Harrison, his sister Barbara and her husband Lou Nieves, his brother Richard and his wife Maureen Lawrence, his brother-in-law James Morganteen, and a total of 15 cherished nieces and nephews.
In addition, Thomas is survived by his wife Maureen and his children Melissa, Thomas, Kate, and Harrison. Thomas was known to be a highly charitable and compassionate person. Thomas looked forward to spending time with his family, as well as playing golf, going to Ohio State football games, and watching his children engage in sports. Additionally, he enjoyed going to Ohio State sporting events.
