Thi Trang Do,Marcus Vu Obituary, – York Regional Police have identified two individuals who were killed, including a 2-year-old child, and have pressed charges against a suspect in connection with the daytime shooting that occurred at a residence in Vaughan on Friday morning.
On that day, law enforcement officers were dispatched to a home on Casa Nova Drive in Woodbridge, where they discovered four individuals suffering from gunshot wounds. One person was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other three were transported to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.
The following day, authorities confirmed that 40-year-old Thi Trang Do and 2-year-old Marcus Vu had succumbed to their injuries. It was not immediately disclosed which individual had passed away at the scene and which had died in the hospital.
In addition to identifying the deceased victims, the police announced that 41-year-old Van Viet Duong from Toronto has been charged with two counts of first-degree murder and two counts of attempted murder. Duong is believed to have been acquainted with the victims, and the authorities suspect that the incident was targeted.
