Her birth took place on February 3, 1942 in Cox Creek, Kentucky, although both of her parents, Jesse Lee Bogard and Margaret Ellen (Snawder) Bogard, had already passed away prior to her arrival. Denver and Thelma were both long-time members of the local Republican Party. She is survived by her husband, Denver Kenneth Bowling; one son, Robert David Bowling, who is married to Amanda and lives in Lexington, Indiana; one stepdaughter, Yolanda Brady, who lives in Scottsburg, Indiana; four sisters, Margo McCandless, who is married to Tom, and Rachel Rutherford, who is married to Harold, both of Scottsburg, Indiana; Wanda, who lives in Las Vegas, Nevada; Theresa Rice, who is married to Ronnie, who lives in Texas; four grandchildren named Sophia Bowling, Rylan Bowling, Tasha Campbell, and Tyler Brady; and a number of nieces and nephews. She is also survived by a number of nieces and nephews.
The Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana will be the location of the funeral services that will be held on Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. respectively.
