At the age of 50, television star Thabiso Sikwane passed away. The families of Sikwane and Matladi announed the former radio personality’s death via a statement.
Sikwane is the ex-wife of DJ Fresh, also known as Thato Sikwane. Sikwane was devoted to Christ, her family, the media, and the entertainment business, according to her family.
The family stated, “She left an indelible mark on colleagues and audiences alike.” Many have shared their surprise, mentioning that they had listened to DJ Fresh’s podcast, What A Week (WAW), and saw her.
Before filing for divorce in 2022, Sikwane was wed to DJ Fresh for 20 years.
She talked about her love for God and how amazed she is by the love he still shows her during the podcast. She also mentioned how God has provided her with the serenity he speaks about in the Bible.
Sikwane previously talked candidly about how, despite their failed marriage, she manages to parent alongside her ex-husband.
She acknowledged that being a single mother might be overwhelming at times, but she encouraged them to persevere and not be too hard on themselves.
