Upon receiving the report, patrol officers promptly arrived at an apartment located at the Artisan at Biltmore Park Apartments on Long Shoals Road at approximately 6 a.m. The officers discovered the deceased man, identified as Terry Lee Landrum Sr., who had succumbed to an apparent gunshot wound. The APD spokesperson, Rick Rice, confirmed these details.
To thoroughly investigate the shooting, the Criminal Investigations Division detectives and forensic technicians are working in collaboration with the North Carolina Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.
