Tee Reh,Ne Reh Obituary, Death; – The Des Moines Police Department reported that a shooting incident on Monday in the Lower Beaver neighborhood, which resulted in the deaths of two individuals, is being investigated as a potential murder-suicide.
The victims have been identified as 15-year-old Tee Reh and 24-year-old Ne Reh, as stated in a news release issued on Thursday. Although they were friends, the two are not related, according to police spokesperson Sgt. Paul Parizek, who provided information to the Register.
Sgt. Parizek noted in the news release that the circumstances surrounding the shooting, including who fired the shots and the motive behind the incident, remain unclear based on forensic autopsy results and the evidence currently available. Both individuals sustained at least one gunshot wound and were discovered in the basement of a residence located in the 3900 block of Lynner Drive. The specific location of the shooting within the house has not yet been determined.
A GoFundMe page has been established, indicating that Tee Reh was fatally shot just one day prior to his 16th birthday.
“His life was tragically taken from us in a senseless act of violence,” stated Say Reh, Tee Reh’s mother, in the GoFundMe campaign. “Instead of celebrating his birthday, we are now preparing to lay him to rest, something no parent should ever have to do.”
