Tatayana Penister,Demetrius Feemster Obituary, Death; – Authorities reported on Tuesday that multiple individuals discharged firearms during a shooting incident at a city park in Arkansas over the weekend, resulting in two fatalities and nine injuries.
The Conway Police Department identified the deceased as 24-year-old Tatayana Penister from England, Arkansas, and 23-year-old Demetrius Feemster from Little Rock. Conway is located approximately 27 miles (43 kilometers) north of Little Rock.
Police Chief Chris Harris stated that shots were fired from at least six different firearms, with investigators estimating that around 100 rounds were discharged. The chief did not disclose the identities of the suspects being sought or the number of suspects involved.
As of Tuesday, one of the nine injured individuals remained in intensive care, while the other eight sustained injuries that were not life-threatening. Officials noted that the shooting took place during an event at the park that had not received city approval.
