In a touching Instagram post, Kirsten said goodbye to her dad with all her heart. “I’ve lost my dad and the world has lost one of the best men it has ever known,” she wrote.
She thought about her father’s impact and said he was more than just an actor. She called him a hero, a mentor, a coach, and a leader.
Kirsten added, “He sent a strong wave of good vibes everywhere he went.” “He affected other people that I had never seen in anyone else. There was something truly magical about him.”

When police arrived, they found a “family disturbance” and killed a suspect who they later found to be the couple’s son, Cameron.
Ely went up against the Santa Barbara district attorney in October 2020, who had said that the police’s acts were legal murder.
