Tanner Dietrich Obituary-Death News; Rochester PA Middle School Student Died by Suicide, Another Victim of Bullying
A middle schooler passed away tragically this week. Rochester community was struck an another unimaginable tragedy after a teenager took their own life following consistent bullying and assault. Also pray for Dietrich’s family, friends, Rochester Middle School, and the high school community.
Tanner Dietrich was a middle school student at the Rochester Area School District. In an email to the school community, Superintendent of Schools, Jane W. Bovalino Ed, D wrote, “It is with deep sadness that I share the heartbreaking news with our community. We have recently learned of the unimaginable passing of one of our middle school students. Tanner Dietrich. Our thoughts and deepest sympathies are with his family and friends during this incredibly difficult time.”
What Happened in Rochester
According to reports, 13-year-old Tanner Dietrich passed away from suicide following a battle with depression and mental illness. According to a personal report, the young male was consistently being bullied. The school community has urged everyone to be mindful of one another’s feelings.
“During difficult times like these, we encourage everyone to be especially mindful of each other’s feelings and needs. Your child may experience signs of stress, such as difficulty sleeping, inability to concentrate, irritability, guilt, fear, or at-risk behaviors.?
The beloved teenager was a brilliant student, an amazing son, brother, friend, and family lover. Tanner is the latest victim of bullying. Please continue prayers for his family and friends.
