Tadeusz Kusy Death – Polish Roman Catholic Prelate, Coadjutor Bishop and Bishop of Kaga-Bandoro Has Sadly Passed Away. After being born in Cieszyn, Kusy joined the Franciscan Order in Katowice in 1968. He was a member of the order. In 1974, he took his vows to remain in the priesthood forever, and on April 15, 1976, he was ordained onto the priesthood. He began his career as a missionary in Zaire in 1979, after having previously served in the parish of Katowice Panewniki.
This individual attended the Institute of Science and Theology of Religions in Paris, France, between the years 1986 to 1989 for his academic pursuits. In 1986, he went back to the Central African Republic, which is located in Africa. In the Archdiocese of Bangui, Father Kusy served as a teacher for young brothers who lived in the Bimbo neighborhood. His duties included serving as the chairperson of the committee for the consecrated life and being a member of the college of consultors for the Archbishop.
The appointment of him as the bishop coadjutor of Kaga-Bandoro was made by Pope Francis on May 31, 2014. On the following day, August 15, Father Kusy was consecrated as an episcopal bishop by Dieudonné Nzapalainga, the Archbishop of Bangui. The co-consecrators for the ceremony were Bishop Albert Vanbuel of Kaga-Bandoro and Bishop Stanislas Lukumwena Lumbala, the Bishop Emeritus of Kole in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. He was appointed to the position of bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Kaga-Bandoro on September 27, 2015. Kusy passed away on March 31, 2024, when he was 72 years old.
