WASHINGTON, D.C. – An arrest has been made in connection with a fatal shooting that took place in Northeast D.C. early Thursday morning.
At approximately 3:21 a.m. on June 20, officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 4400 block of Hunt Place, Northeast. Upon arrival, they found 21-year-old Marcellus Jackson lying in the roadway with a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Following an investigation, 32-year-old Antonio Johnson, who has no fixed address, was arrested later that day and charged with Second Degree Murder while Armed.
