(PINPOINT WEATHER) — Good Sunday Morning! Hope everyone has made it through the winter storm okay.
This morning’s temperatures are in the teens and 20s, allowing for a frigid start. We experienced a decent amount of melting yesterday, leading to a few areas of black ice this morning. Use caution during your Sunday morning commute.
We will see more melting today, with plenty of sunshine. Continue to bundle up through today, as temperatures will only rise into the upper 30s and low 40s.
Another chance for black ice will be present tonight, as temperatures will fall back into the low to mid-20s. A few school delays are possible to start the work week.
We will try to turn a tad more seasonable Monday afternoon, with highs in the mid to upper 40s. Keeping up with plenty of sunshine to start the work week as well.
There will be another shot of colder air following a dry cold front passage on Tuesday, which will allow temperatures to be more in the lower 40s through the middle of the week, with lows falling well into the 20s. Even a few teens are possible on Wednesday and Thursday mornings.
Towards the end of the work week, a few high temperatures could flirt with the 50-degree mark for the first time since January 3rd.
The next chance for rain showers will come with a cold front this upcoming Saturday. The front looks to clear quickly and bring drier conditions for the second half of next weekend. However, this will bring back the return of colder air in the following week.
Take care and be safe!
