Steven Aeschliman Obituary – The East Peoria man who was killed in a crash in Rock Island on Thursday has been identified as Steven Aeschliman, 40, according to Rock Island County Coroner Brian Gustafson. The collision occurred at 8:25 p.m. in the 1400 block of First Avenue, near the Stanley Talbot Memorial Bridge. A preliminary autopsy revealed that Aeschliman died from blunt force trauma.
The driver of the eastbound Chevrolet Impala, a 20-year-old man, was treated at the hospital and released.
