Southern California Missing, woman found, boyfriend arrested by the authorities on suspicion of kidnapping ; A woman who Chino Hills police determined to be missing under “suspicious circumstances” has been found, and her boyfriend has been arrested on suspicion of multiple charges, according to authorities.
The investigation began at 6:42 a.m. Tuesday on the 4300 block of Francis Avenue in unincorporated Chino. Detectives determined that the woman, whose identity has not been disclosed, was missing under suspicious circumstances and conducted interviews with those familiar with the situation.
Following these leads, police identified a vehicle of interest and conducted surveillance at a home on the 3100 block of Vintage Place in Jurupa Valley. During a traffic stop on the vehicle, officers found the missing woman inside, suffering from significant injuries. She was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Inside the vehicle was 52-year-old Javier Ramirez, a resident of Jurupa Valley. Police established that Ramirez and the woman were in a romantic relationship.
Ramirez was arrested on suspicion of kidnapping, domestic violence, false imprisonment, battery with serious bodily injury, dissuading a victim, and violating a court order. Investigations revealed that Ramirez had allegedly assaulted and imprisoned the woman for two days before his arrest. He was subsequently booked into Robert Presley Detention Center in Riverside.
