Shooting South Portland Maine – An cop reportedly opened fire on a guy who was armed during an altercation at an apartment complex in South Portland, Oregon, early on Friday morning. The man later died from his injuries. At around four in the morning, officers responded to a report of domestic violence at the Summit Terrace apartment complex located off Broadway. There were also allegations of bullets being fired.
The victim allegedly told the responding officers that the suspect, who was later identified as 47-year-old Christapher Dodge, had departed the apartment in his pickup truck as the authorities arrived. Dodge allegedly returned to the location and “engaged the officers in an armed confrontation.” This information comes from the police.
