Sincere Sole Thomas Obituary, Death;- The Allen County Coroner has confirmed the identity of the teenager who was fatally shot on Monday evening at an apartment complex located off Decatur Road.
The victim has been identified as Sincere Sole Thomas, aged 17. The coroner has classified her death as a homicide.
On that night, police discovered Thomas suffering from a gunshot wound on the playground at Black Pine Flats. She was initially transported to a hospital in critical condition but was subsequently pronounced dead.
Jamir Benson, aged 16, has been charged as an adult in relation to this incident. According to court documents, he faces charges of murder and robbery.
Benson is currently being held at the Allen County Jail without the possibility of bond.
